It is designed primarily for plastics applications, manufactured by the chloride process and supplied as a fine, dry white powder.  Titanium Dioxide(R-104) has been specifically made to give outstanding melt flow with highly loaded thermoplastic, combined with high brightness and tinting strength and fine particle size distribution.  It offers excellent lacing resistance in high-temperature cast film and extrusion coating applications and engineering resin applications where high opacity at low loading is required.
